ME

Thats me! I am Matthias Schäfer a Business Information Systems Student from the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg, Germany.
Although I am already 27 I am still feeling very young. I am good looking, open minded and quite proficient in doing things from scratch, especially sports.

I spent the third semester of my studies in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and became a professional surfer. (kidding)

During the fifth semester I did an Business Process Reengineering internship at Elektrisola Malaysia. I enjoyed  living in the middle of nowhere in the tropical rainforest, got to travel huge parts of South East Asia and simply had a great time.

Now, after graduating in February 2009, I am doing my Master of Information Systems at the amazing Griffith University in Brisbane/Australia.

Thus basically the blog deals with my studies abroad in down under, the new experiences, challenges and lifestyle in Australia.
